The Matthews House is a single residence, not an institution. Each resident has a private bedroom and a private bathroom of their own, and the rest of the home — the kitchen, the dining table, the living room, the covered porch — belongs to everyone who lives here.

Housing, with services
As a registered MUSA residence in North Carolina, we provide the housing and coordinate the services. Residents keep their independence and choose only the support they want.

Pay for services online
Respite stays, add-on services, and monthly service packages can be paid online by card. Residents and family members receive an itemized statement before any charge.
